They make very, very beautiful art, but this documentary is a bit of a "fuck you" to all the people out there who are digital artists. A computer does NOT make art. The humans using the computer make the art. Do the pencils of these artists create their works? Of course not. In the same vein, my computer does not whip something up for me; instead, I spend painstaking hours (weeks, months, etc.) on each piece. Also, most people who design digitally also draw traditionally, I'd say.

@leliathomas it is obvious that computer based media is dominating the commercial world we live in. it is a "breath of fresh air" to see art forms reacting with their environment organically that have been created with a human touch that exists outside of lcd moniter.

yeah i see what you mean. its like 'ooh they can use pencils, how strange!'.  also the music is very annoying.

but congrats to the artists for this level of recognition, i have always been impressed with their stuff :)
