Txtr is a German company that already runs a website called txtr.com that allows document sharing. The Txtr eReader seems like a natural extension its a pretty typical eReader in terms of screen size and technology (the standard 6 inch eInk screen). However, it really spices things up with WiFi, GPRS, a 3D accelerometer, PDF and ePub support, and an open software architecture.

Here are some of the interesting features - 1. It uses the same eInk technology that every other eReader uses and has the same 6 screen size.
2. There is 3G support - SIM-enabled UMTS/GPRS.
3. They have WiFi support too.
4. They claim that they use advanced power management technology to get battery life in the weeks range.
5. Its designed for tight integration with txtr.com which is sort of an online document sharing platform.
