@TheAryonB Because back in the day kids were allowed to go out trick or treating by themselves. Now everybody is freaked out of child abductions etc, but in the 70s, when this video was made, kids as young as 4 and 5 regularly were out by themselves walking around. Now we treat kids like retards and pretty much don't let them have any freedom at all. And before anyone bitches, there were just as many abductions and killings in the 70s and earlier.

Haha. What a load of shit. Part of the coolness of being a kid when I was growing up was doing stupid shit and learning from it (or just doing it, like smashing my teeth through my lip). I remember spraining my ankle when I was trick or treating once on my own and hobbling around on a sugar high for the rest of the night. Who wants to wear light colors on Halloween?
