Was looking for a way to check rudder setup and needed some kind of turn-table. What developed came from items I thought many us have lying around. Took little time & practically no machining. So thought it might be worth sharing.

  • a lazy susan would work real nice too mate i got a coupla vids of me using one ;)

  • Agreed.... Absolutely nothing wrong W/ using a lazy Susan. The intent here was to demo a possible alternative. Of course what figures heavily into this option being viable, is having access to a camera tripod (or its equivalent). If the answer is no, then a lazy Susan is probably an option to be considered.

On the other-hand if you have the materials shown, this solution allows you to check not only gyro setup but cyclic too

  • ileft that comment before you took the canopy off.^

  • No problem... Two that you might have missed, is the Extreme frame stiffener & Belt-CP upper rotor components. IMO, both worth their cost
