Lemony Snicket is breaking down Occupy Wall Street for those who aren't up to speed about the protests.

In a show of support for the so-called 99 percent, American novelist Daniel Handler, who writes under the Snicket pen name and is currently best known for the popular children's books A Series of Unfortunate Events, has distilled Occupy Wall Street into 13 verses. Among them: "Historically, a story about people inside impressive buildings ignoring or even taunting people standing outside shouting at them turns out to be a story with an unhappy ending."

Handler has joined more than a hundred authors who have pledged their support for the movement at OccupyWriters.com.
