My teacher is literally making me fail chemistry. I needed this so much, I try so hard but I get no where because of my awful teacher. I wish you were teaching me instead of him. Anyway, you're awesome :D! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I will now get a fairly good mark on my test, hopefully an A. :D!

Lots of answers to that question, but basically all the Metals (stuff in the middle and to the left hand side of the per table LOSE electrons to get an electron configuration like a noble gas (are positive) and the few nonmetals on the right hand side of the table who gain electrons to become like a noble gas (are negative)......
