Shaolin Warrior Monk - Shi De Shan. Shi De Shan is a 31st Generation Shaolin Warrior Monk. The Songshan Shaolin Temple is the same Shaolin Temple represented in old Kung Fu TV series that most Americans learned about Shaolin from for the first time. Unlike the TV series, however, Shi De Shan has trained for long arduous years in Shaolin Kung Fu and meditation and was officially appointed by the current temple to open a branch of the official Shaolin Temple in the United States in Houston, TX. His perfection of the movements, principles and applications of Shaolin to everyday self defense situations has lead him to be an authority to the police forces in China as well as in Houston. His extreme love of Shaolin, his sense of perfectionism, his discipline, as well as his highly contagious enthusiasm and likable personality make him an excellent teacher for the serious student of any age. I am very, very grateful to have found Shi De Shan as my own master, after trying many styles, and after trying many different Shaolin teachers.

I love hip hop too but traditional shaolin traditional chinese music in my opinion.

The younger people love it. I love both, but yeah I agree. The reality is that the school is filled with new and current (asian and asian-american) younger students who simply don't listen to much chinese traditional music. Up is down. Left is right. The world turns. I adjust. ... :)

I love Dasifu Shi De Shan. I tried dem all. He is the best sifu in all of Houston! He rilly care about making us into good kids. My friend Bobby (see vids) from another school is coming here soon, too! We work hard and bow in respect to all the Houston peeps in Shaolin.
