Note: I uploaded this video to get the story straight. A few years ago someone uploaded a low quality capture from VHS and there was all kinds of speculation about where it came from, who shot it, and what not.

Shot on 16mm b/w film in 1996 by M. Polish and edited by J. F. Kinyon under the direction of John Frusciante himself.

"Life's a Bath" is a track from the rare out of print solo album "Smile From The Streets You Hold", circa 1997.

This footage was shot specifically for this song and intended to be an actual music video (as hard as that may be for some to believe).

It was never released by the record label (of course). It first appeared on the internet in 2005.
