Quebec has the eighth worst health care out of all the provinces.

And according to WHO's 2000 list, the country at large ranks peculiarly low among nations that do offer universal health care.

I live in the U.S., have health insurance and last week I waited for 7 HOURS to be treated in the ER. I see a specialist and have to book my appointments months in advance. My Canadian friends have relayed a very different experience with their healthcare including my girlfriend who had breast cancer and received excellent treatment, without having to worry about paying a single cent. I think this video is a little skewed.

@MrVillamike im not trying to be patronizing but to say that only the rich get good heath treatment is not true. i dont know were you are getting that info because its roung, we have govenment programs to help the needy and we also have free clinics so to say we need a canada heathcare system is just not needed.

@TheClone3000 Don't be so patronizing, I work but I still get free health care, I might pay a little more in tax but that's ok.

As for this video it's farcical, yes you might have to wait a few hours but then you get treated, if they want to get it done and not wait hours then go and pay $900 to only wait a couple of hours.

Personally I'd wait the few hours and save myself the $900.

If there is an emergency you get treated straight away no waiting, and no fees.

@MrVillamike oh its dirt cheap in canada because there is none in canada, see in the us its just you paying for it, not everyone around you(taxes), and unlike canada it works. if you relly cared so much about it you would work for it insted of trying to make other people pay for it. me and my family arnt rich and we dont have any problem going to ther doctor.and if you relly need a hand out there is welfare.
