I'm a big fan of Grant and having Starks is just priceless, he's a protypical running back, elusive, strong, FAST, and not afraid to lower that helmet and bang ya hard for extra yardage. This kids got a great home witht the greatest team ever in the NFL. GO GREEN AND GOLD!

@youngg4eva3 -- Packers Goal: Grant & Starks to Get Equal Number of Rushing Attempts --
Tue Sep 6, 2011 --from FFMasterminddotcom
My gut instinct tells me its only a matter of time before Starks is starter and getting majority of carries.

LOL @ mad bears fan 5:26! That makes sense right Packers suck cause we just scored a touchdown on them...

Just wait until he becomes fully integrated into the offense. Once they work on some of his route running and downfield catching Rodgers will be able to dial up some vicious adjustments out of the I- Form. Think about this, Packers come out in a standard I-form with Jennings Nelson out wide, Finley at TE with Starks and Kuhn in the backfield. Defense responds with a 43 and then OH SNAP James Starks motions to the slot and suddenly you have a kick *** spread offense.

lifegoson,
So are you a Buffalo fan/alum?
I love the vid, and love me some James Starks. From watching his old highlights I'm left the impression that even in his heroic playoff performances he was still just scratching the surface. Get this kid a full NFL offseason and 16+ games of action and look out NFL, he'll be a special piece of this offense if he can stay healthy.

lets go buffalo

@lifegoson8 Yeah, people forget that Grant was starting to turn it on in that game. He never comes out fast, but as the game progresses, he starts picking up big chunks of yardage very often.
Starks, though, is a definite stud. An obvious third-down back with his pass-catching ability and pass-blocking skills. I'm excited to see him and Grant go at it for the job.
Oh, and don't forget the return of this Finley kid. That might help our offense a tad.

disagree, well see who starts i bet anything starks he is alot more toughh when he runs een tho i like grant....have them go at it in training camp ill be there!!! Go Pack Superbowl 2012 yeah promise

@lifegoson8 Yep, one of our guys blocked for Grant at the e4nd of the play, and the guy he shoved wound up pushing his fellow defensive player down, which of course that lead to him rolling Grant's ankle. Sad, so sad. But, he's been all smiles ever since approximately 4 months after the incident, so I take that as a good sign!
forget who the starter is, split grant and starks reps together and see one hell of a one two punch.

With all due respect, Starks is a great halfback, and even better than Brandon Jackson. But I believe it is nearly a guarantee that Ryan grant shall remain our starter for the 2011 season just as long as he stays healthy. Starks is great and all, but NEVER forget what Grant has done for us the past 3 seasons. He started off even giving us a running game, nevermind the fact he has had back-to-back 1200+-yard seasons. Glad you're here with us though Starks!!!

@youngg4eva3 I have to agree honestly. Grant was the starting running back and hes shown what he can do. And im not sure but didnt he get injured on like a 21 yard run?? lol yeah grants good! hes the starter I just hope it all works out for Buck and i really wanna see him play.
