This verse in sanskrit by Kalidas is in praise of mother Goddess Matangi
Playing on the Vina studded with rubies,
With a youthful figure & sweet speech,
Daughter of sage Matanga,
I worship you.
Four armed holding the noose, the trident, a bow & arrow.
A crescent moon adorns on your head.
With breast decorated with vermillion,
O mother of the Universe, I worship you.
With a form as brilliant as emerald and
gait as graceful as a proud elephant.
You bless all with your sidelong glance.
One who reside in the Kadamba forest,
Victory to you daughter of sage Matanga,
Victory to you the one as beautiful as a blue lotus,
Victory to you the lover of music,
Victory to you whose pet is a blue green parrot.
O mother of the universe, I worship You.
The dancer than concludes the mangalacharan with "Trikhandi Pranam" or
the three fold salutations.
1) above the head to the Gods in heaven,
2) in front of the forehead to the Guru, &
3) in front of the chest to the respected audience.

So expert! I haven't seen Vishnu in years, but he's one of the finest Odissi dancers in the world IMHO. He's got a lot of courage and absorption in his art. Check out the video I have of him called Deva Dasi: Dance in Devotion
