@rmhism No, because in many cases, their acts in life can never be acknowledged.

This is a few days late, but, I would like to say, that 22nd November 2011 marked the 48th anniversary of the death of John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Someone who woulda changed the world. Shot. This world is nuts.
-
I've heard the bugler's tone issues and "Broken Note" were due, of course, to the effort of trying to hold back tears.

very good tone tone, good sound, but flat. wouldn't be surprised, it was hella cold that day.

A GREAT MAN

He did. Remember the qoute "And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country."
-
God bless him. He did so much for this country. Thank you Kennedy. Just thank you.

I think I remember seeing an interview of the guy who played it. He was saying how everyone thought he faltered because he was emotional and couldn't play. But he said it was just a really cold day and the metal mouthpiece slipped off his lips.
