im 13 nearly 14... i used to cut, but then i stopped but now i started again. i had a alternatlve - to write poems, but then i started cutting again...:/

im not proud of it, but then again thats me. and i dont think people should judge u on wat u do cause of ur life... thats not right. its like judging someone on there colour or gender.. not right... just cause they way they r .. i tried stopping but ater a while.. u cant

c. very meaningless things like a band, a boy, a break-up. Only to find out that a week later there were over it and had horrible healing flesh wounds on their wrists. You come to regret it after a while. From past expirience, I have found that cutting is like scraping peices of life from yourself that you can never get back, and from that conclusion I put my stupidity to an end. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, emrace it. Don't reject it.

I have been contemplating suicide for some time now because I feel like noone cares for me. My mom takes her anger out on me any chance she gets. I have bruises and gashes from her hitting me, and I feel that if i try to stand up for myself, she'll do even more damage.

I wantED to die. Your Speaks videos have changed all my views on life. you're SO inspirational and are saving lives, like mine. You show me that even though you've gone through hell, you CAN fight through it. Thank you SO much<3

I'm 34 and have very visible scars I made at 16 and 17. I wish I hadn't done it, but looking back on how I felt at the time, I don't really see how I could have acted differently than I did. I say, if anyone dismisses you as insane for having scars from self-harm, fuck them.
