I dont understand, it's 4 wires there. how can 8 LEDs light up one by one ?

@denha Yeah, i may see now. i think the 2 leds that use one same wire are inverted. and the chip can provide inverted electrical level at different time. am i right?

Neat, and well designed, but... why? It's kinda cool to look at for a few seconds but after that I'd want to shut it off and never ever turn it on again. Ever. Maybe you have some market in mind... but I just don't see it...
