  • What is the difference between outside and inside frame? Is outside frame just an extra sheet of metal??

  • @8010cookie

Outside frame means that it is wider than the gauge of the wheels so that the frame is in front of the wheels - or outside of the wheels. Most locomotives have an inside frame so that the frame is behind the wheels when you look from the side.

  • This is actually #464.

  • Ah, yes, stupid me...

  • The crossing bell was full of bees/hornets nest. I cleaned it out in May 2009 and it sounds better now.

  • why are the warning bells souding so deep

  • The website said hucklberry has 7 engines. what ones are they?

  • Seriously? there are so many videos on this engine. the only time i see #1, ithink, is double headers. but i want to hear her whistle.
