Oh MAN ok 1. I feel sorry for all the civilians that died in those bomb attacks and GOD rest their souls and 2. that wouldn't hav happened if the Japs werent so Blood thirsty to take over everything and try to make a whole Empire and kill everyone that resisted and attaking us Americans when we wanted nothing to do with the war.

Countries shouldn't whitewash their deeds. So, by that logic, it is good that we put videos like these so that we can see what America has done in its past. Noone doubts if the bombs had not been dropped, the war would have continued. But we have no way of knowing what the repurcussions of an invasion would have been. Ever been to Japan? They have their DAY of memorial, yes. But look at how radically changed their constitution is, after 1945. They're aware of their misdeeds. I assure you.

My grandpa was serving in the Philipines in WWII and if they hadn't have drop the A-bomb then there would have been another beachhead invasion, like Normandy, and my pawpaw would have been on the 1st wave(most likely)

Sounds like John Hurt.
It is so absurd and sad, to see the peace memorial & peace day in Hiroshima being used as portraying the Japanese as the major victims of WWII, but quietly skimming over WHY the bombs were dropped and ignoring that millions of lives had already been killed by the Japanese & these bombs were used to put an end to Japanese bloody Rampage through Asia from the beginning of 20th century(Japanese Colonialism) to end of WWII. Japan, your hands are still bloody & your lies to this day so clear

it is true that japan was an intense aggressor during world war II and that the rape of nan-king was a terrible deed but the memorial is dedicated to the civilians that died. also bear in mind the lasting damage the two atomic bombs created, mutations and all that.

I respect your reasons for setting up this channel. A Memorial against atomic bomb violence is needed, but HOW it is used by the Japanese in an unethical under-handed manner should be pointed out.Nanking was just tip of the iceberg of slavery, invasions and killings for nearly half a century that culminated in WWII with the bombs. Japan whitwashes its history to this day and the memorial is also unfortunately used to give a distorted view of histroy.History will repeat if truth is distorted.

yes that is true. i do agree with your comment but after all that japan is the only country that has suffered nuclear strikes. and then again what country doesnt whitewash their history? turkey for example refuses to accept the genocides they commited in eastern europe during their ottoman empire occupation. it all boils down to perspective.
