Robert Dudley (born in 1955) has been Group Chief Executive of BP p.l.c. since October 2010. Prior to this appointment and in the wake of the Gulf of Mexico incident, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of BPs Gulf Coast Restoration organisation in the United States, being responsible for the cleaning work in the Gulf, the cooperation with authorities and the public, as well as analysing the damages caused by the catastrophe.

Dudley looks back on a 16-year working experience in various departments within the international oil industry, having worked in China, Russia, several African countries, the United States and the United Kingdom. He holds a Master degree in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and an MBA from Southern Methodist University, Texas.




Jorma Ollila (born in 1950) is Chairman of the Board of Directors of both Royal Dutch Shell plc and Nokia Corporation. Having served with Nokia for 26 years, he is recognised as being with the company from its structural crisis in the 1990's to its turning into the world's largest handset maker. He acted as Nokia's Chief Executive Officer from 1992 until 2006 when he took over his current position at Shell. As an advocate for innovation, Ollila focuses on future trends in the energy sector. In the wake of the catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico he stated that this was a powerful reminder.

Ollila earned a Master of Political Science degree in 1976 from the University of Helsinki and completed his studies with Master degrees from the London School of Economics and from the Helsinki University of Technology.




Leonhard H. Fischer (born in 1963) has been Chief Executive Officer of RHJ International and Kleinwort Benson Group since 2009 and 2010 respectively. RHJ International is a publicly listed industrial company which after its acquisition of Kleinwort Benson is transforming itself into a financial service group. Having been Chief Executive Officer of Winterthur Group, formerly an insurance subsidiary of Credit Suisse Group, Leonhard Fischer successfully restructured the struggling company from 2003--2006.

At a very young age he held various executive positions within leading German financial institutions, such as on the Management Board of Allianz AG and on the Executive Board of Dresdner Bank. Leonhard Fischer holds a Master of Arts in finance from the University of Georgia.




Joseph A. Stanislaw (born in 1949) is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the advisory firm The JAStanislaw Group, LLC which is specialised in environmentally sound investment in energy and technology. Being also an independent senior advisor to Deloitte, he is assisting the company and its clients in identifying and developing services and strategies in the areas of clean and emerging technologies, sustainable development and climate change. In 1983, Stanislaw co-founded Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), realising the importance of sustainable energy solutions.

Stanislaw was awarded a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge, where he was elected a research fellow of Clare Hall, and has received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Edinburgh.
