Im pretty sure that was the point; to express that you could put anything on there in order to make it you. So if you wanted "Alice In Wonderland" you coul go to the market place and download it. Or if you wanted "The Smashing pumpkins' Tonight, Tonight" music video, You could download that too.

If anything this ad is perfectly in line with the shit work that Microsoft does anyway. Blasé, meaningless and vapid.

If you think the name Zune is whacked, just guess what their online music store is called - URGE!

iPod is classy. Just that there are too many 'i' products in the Apple family but its still a lovely name and it comes from the word 'pod' used for one of the space modules in the film, "2001: A Space Odyssey" by Stanley Kubrick.

"Zune" is just a combo of Zero + loon!!

it's not meant to compete with the ipod touch, only the classics and the nanos although i do agree with you, avid zune 80 user for a year now, phenominal piece of kit, looks great, and yes it does work in the UK!
