this edition is by my friend Pepe Romero ( with some changes by me)
(Hmm-- the intonation slips in the end but with just a short time to record I had to leave it, the nature of having children and a busy studio, no time to wait days for a great take its point and shoot and post!
Ok this is the next step of my new quest, now that the kids are in school--in between my students I am going to record one piece from my program a week. I've got microphone problems, it really sounds much more even in the studiobut as I am alone and can't really make adjustments here it s.
I 'm already getting the I should wait thing in my mind.
But as I said if I don't get something up I may get nothing.
So it is what it is, I'm still pressed for time but at least I'm getting some music up.Hope you enjoy.

Hi James, it's always a pleasure to listen to your playing. It's also an honor to take lessons from you at your studio in LA. I think the most amazing part of your teaching is how you take complex pieces and break them down into small bites so that they can be mastered over time. Your emphasis on tone quality has also been a great help to me and your approach has resulted in more enjoyment, more fun, and the ability to "make music", which is what guitar is all about isn't it!
