Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe at recent concerts in Arab countries. She sang "Kan Andi Baghbaghan" (I Had A Parrot) on New Year's Eve 2008 at the Concord El Salam hotel, Cairo, Egypt. Over 1400 people attended the sold-out concert. Many were turned away.
I uploaded this video again in order to replace it with better audio of this song.
Thanks to HaifaFans for the quality audio of this song and to Mina for the New Year's Eve video.

Here's a news story about Haifa's concert in Casablanca on Jan. 18, 2008:
"Five Moroccan fans treated to free Haifa Wehbe tickets"
During Lebanese superstar Haifa Wehbe's recent trip to Morocco, the singer worked with the Red Ribbon Charity to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS. She was also impressed by the devotion of a group of young fans.
Lebanese superstar Haifa Wehbe came to Morocco for a January 18th concert at the Mégarama complex in Casablanca. In a whirlwind visit, the singer raised awareness about HIV/AIDS and treated several devoted fans to free tickets to her show.
The show was part of an awareness campaign the Lebanese star was conducting in co-operation with Le Ruban Rouge (The Red Ribbon) Charity to combat AIDS. Haifa Wehbe serves as an ambassador for the charity, and helps prevent the spread of the disease by highlighting its risks and methods of prevention.
Proceeds from the concert -- well-attended despite high ticket prices, which ranged from 1,500 to 2,000 dirhams -- will be used to fund a Red Ribbon awareness campaign across Africa.
Haifa's visit to Morocco also attracted major media coverage and popular interest. A delegation headed up by Simo Ben Bachir, President of the Red Ribbon Charity organised a grand reception.
Moroccan fan devotion showed itself when five young men walked fifteen kilometres to follow Haifa back to her residence in a luxury hotel in the Boua'za area of the Casablanca suburbs, hoping simply to speak with the star.
Simo Ben Bachir, who accompanied the Lebanese singer throughout her visit, told Magharebia, "The initiative and persistence of the young men had a great effect on Haifa. After bodyguards were mobilised and prevented them from approaching her, they kept on chanting her name. She stopped to speak to them, and they complained it was impossible for them to attend the concert because they could not afford the price of tickets."
"She was greatly touched," Ben Bachir said, "and she gave instructions to allow them to attend the concert free of charge."
Ben Bachir added that Haifa was keen to see the young men at the concert that night. The youths, all under age 15, were extremely happy. One burst into tears because he was standing in front of his favourite star, whose songs he knows by heart.
Simo explained that one of them didn't believe what happened, and considered it to be a once-in-a-lifetime miracle; something that greatly increased his love and admiration for the Lebanese singer, as well as his appreciation for her generosity.
Eyewitnesses said that many fans, especially young people, followed her from the very moment she arrived at the Mohammed V airport until her departure from Morocco. Many people tried to make their way through to greet her, and give her roses, but security staff kept them at bay.
Speaking during the concert, the singer sent a special greeting to King Mohammed VI. She noted the stability and security which Morocco enjoys, saying, "I wish for this beautiful country to continue enjoying this everlasting peace which we miss in our homeland of Lebanon. We don't have a president yet, but I pray to God that he may endow Lebanon with the stability that Morocco enjoys, thanks to the presence of King Mohammed VI."
The audience applauded the statement, which many felt came directly from the heart.
Haifa plans to continue her campaign to fight AIDS, and will soon accompany the Red Ribbon Charity to a number of African countries.

Hi, cyan,
An old song, eh. I'd like to know more about it. I've also heard it's a children's song, but I'm not sure. Maybe, someone who knows more could tell us...?
If I know your musical tastes, I think you might also like the song "Toul Omry" on my Valentine's Day concert video. Yes?
