was there a problem with the sherriff? tickets?

So ... it looks like you guys made it to the trestle - but then did you get tickets from the Sherrif? I want to ride there myself, but looking around online it seems that they keep changing the rules, and yours is the newest stuff I found. Do you mind saying what happened?

We went a lot further than the big trestle and never encountered the sheriff's ... there seemed to be a lot of people. I thought the ride was a little hairy with not a lot of room for error. It was beautiful not sure if I would bike again.
