why does this song sound so angry? I second the last comment. The "i's" were way to spread, and made me think the soloist was almost angry or at least unhappy about his situation. Its an introspective song, and in many ways a song of worship. this interpretation, however, was far from moving, and, I feel, destroyed the intentions of Nickel Creek
Your voices were all lovely, but I'm not sure I would have performed it that way. The song's a deeply personal inspection of the speaker's faith, and I felt like the background singers took away from the emotion somewhat. It would have been nice to see one or two parts (the end, perhaps) sung solo.
Still, everybody sounded great and the main singer's voice is wonderful.
I loved it. Uncertainty and death confronted honestly should sound something like this.
