@wanttoseemysnake Well then, if their is potential for this to happen whether or not the aggression has been bred in and out, just don't allow Pitbull's to be owned "period" and then we lesson the chance of attack from this breed to literally NO Pitbull attacks per year ;) Why do you people need a Pitbull anyway, you can't live without a meat head dog licking your face, shitting in your yard and barking at everything that moves?.

@mdslick1 The problem is all dogs are really unpredictable when it comes to their inner "calling". I for one would expect a Jack russal to attack a rabbit thus leaving a rabbit alone with one is wrong. The problem with pitbull breeding is that instead of trying to breed out the aggression they have bred for aggression(winning fights). This may have not been what they expected 200 years ago but as there has been at least 25 generations of breeding for aggression that alone can cause issues.....

@wanttoseemysnake i knew what they where breed for and it was dog fighting, the idiots started to breed them for fighting. but they were breed for baiting at first...but its not in there blood to be unpredictable..

@mdslick1 You need to know your dog history. They have been selectively bred since the 1700 for fighting(oldest known recorded pedigree was from a fighting dog in the 1700's),before that they were bred to bait bulls and attack bears. Not at all for real family pets which is why many don't make good pets as they have an inborn need to defend.

@mdslick1 Genetics is very strong when it comes to dogs. Think about it, what makes a jack russel good at catching animals, or what makes sheep dogs want to herd( they try to do this with people). Blood lines are important, you have a dog bred for fighting what do you think you would get?? It bad breeding period.
