I think the Premier League may be regarded as more 'exciting' then La Liga but overall Spanish teams playing better football. The games have more pace and this shows in the attendance of PL games including mid table teams when compared with Spain's mid table teams. Real Madrid and Barcelona are by far the best teams in the world at the moment, (at the time of writing this Manchester City & Manchester United are the best teams in England and they were outclassed in Champions League.)
