I wish the fasion was still like that. I have never in my life worn bikini bottoms for all the world to see (i don't think the world is ready for it) I like these much better :)

@MyUsername156- I agree. The reason there are more overweight people today: our food choices are so processed & devoid of proper nutrients. Back then they had access to produce without genetically altered / cloned foods. Their red meat (cows) were fed a natural diet of grass on the farm -- not force-fed corn, as they are today. (Which means back then, they had beef high in Omega-3's instead of what we get now, the terrible obesity-causing Omega-6's). We are what we eat... & so is our food.

Feminism has done a lot for us gals socially, but somewhere along the way, we seem to have lost the know-how to be feminine. Today, fashion's all about being super skinny w/ unrealistic proportions- racy clothes & masculine attitudes. I don't see how that's a step forward. It seems that the more time passes, we try to become more like men. I say, true femininity is when you can be the person you want to be without sacrificing your right to be truly feminine.

Yes, there are more overweight people out there today, but at least back then, overweight people still knew how to dress classy and had more dignity for themselfs. I'm just saying that I would rather wear a swimsuit from the 40's or 50's then a bikini that looks like dental floss JMO.

Women back in the day looked so pretty and elegant! Not like anorexic toothpicks of today. If only that style could make a comeback! I loved the clothes of that era! Elegant, tasteful and stylish! Thank you for posting this!
