The Great Pawcatuck Rubber Duck Race

In Westerly, RI and Pawcatuck, CT, their idea for holding a raffle is to sell rubber duckies for $5 a pop, place a raffle number on the bottom of these duckies, and then when 20,000 of them have been sold just load'em into a bulldozer and dump them into the Pawcatuck River. If your rubber duckie finishes first, you win!

i thought you guys would like to know that my dad is the loader driver! he works for the company that is sponsered by the duck race! me and my brother are there every year! you can mostly find us on or in the loader or walking with our dad(parents)around downtown westerly!
