Mary Poplin tells an amazing story of Mother Teresa and forgiveness at The Veritas Forum at Wyoming. What does it mean to forgive? And why should we? Learn how Mother Teresa thought about it in this short clip.
"Radical forgiveness is when you forgive other people when, number one, they don't even know they need to be forgiven and, number two, they haven't asked you." - Mary Poplin

"Hey Mother Tesera this guy is saying you stole a lot of money"
"That's OK he's forgiven"
How does that work? And also saying she knew nothing about where the donations came from is a lie since she wrote a letter to the judge presiding over Charles Keating's case.

@Skolinkenlot Are you sure you're responding to me?--because what I said is exactly what's so terrible about Teresa of Calcutta. Read!

Did those sisters pray for Hitch? Didn't seem to work, seeing as he has been struck ill with esophageal cancer. People of her ilk wouldn't stand a chance with Christopher on stage to retort the nonsense. I understand the importance of forgiveness, but outsourcing it to a higher power seems immoral to me. I forgive when I'm ready but the reality is that I could simply choose not to and still be moral.

Wow, did my ears just deceive me or did Poplin just imply that because Mother Theresa has divine providence she and her group are above all other people and have a right to get away with anything? By the way, besides Charles Keating, other donators to mother Theresa include the Haitian Duvallier military dictatorship

Mother Theresa was a ghoulish and sadistic and self-serving elderly virgin. Nothing 'motherly' about her. And not surprising that Mary Poplin is an admirer. Gross.
