We were sooo lucky last week, they are filming the 2nd series of Vera, and were just up the road to where we live, so when out walking the dog, saw the filming and saw Brenda Blethyn acting out a scene, we asked the Security, if it would be possible to return for her autograph, he told us when to come back, and had mentioned us to her... so when we returned, she came straight over, she chatted to us, posed for pics and allowed us to stand by her on set, how lucky were we... I love Brenda B xxx

Absolutely adore Brenda Blethyn, the character she plays Vera is like a female British version of Columbo. Dishevilled, disorganised, nit-picking and like a dog with a bone - fascinating character. Wonderful British drama.
