My son riding our pet tortoise Atilla when he was 9 months old.

Don't worry, the tortoise is incredibly strong and was not harmed while taking these pictures.

  • Most awesome video I've ever seen. Where can you buy one of these turtles? And how much is the upkeep for food and whatnot?

  • @MagnetiX sulcata-station(dot)org this link will give you information you need to raise a sulcata tortoise. You can buy them locally or over the internet. Google sulcata tortoise for sale and you will come up with current online resources.

  • @CraneTiger2 If he was Hungarian and we spelled his name the traditional way, you'd be right. But he's not, and we didn't, so it's Atilla. Just like Joshua, Joshwa or Joshuah. Same names, different spelling.

  • 8 seconds in the vid he's like hell yeah bitches

  • @BammyQ the band is The Squirrel Nut Zippers.

  • @MBsaturnus

actually you would be surprised how clever animals are, some are proven to be more intelligent then humans in mental and physical ways...

  • @MBsaturnus indeed.. in college i'm studying reptiles including turtle it's just basics but this subject came by aswel

  • @geertdik true ! i actually stepped on such a critter and it didnt harm it. thats what their shells are made for.

  • i don't know why people are hating so much, even small landturtle's (Testudinae) such as the greek one (Testudo hermanni) their shell can withstand the weight of an adult person. the higher the shell (more of a round shape upwards) the stronger it is.

  • @spinnerdick that's a sulcata...

  • what is the name of this music?

  • THEY SEE ME ROLLIN

  • The kid was too little to harm the tortoise, if the kid was bigger then the tortoise would have just sat down and wouldn't have moved. I'm studying to become an SPCA officer and while this isn't considered animal cruelty, it shouldn't be encouraged.
