Thankyou, so, so much for the comments, rating and subscriptions. Kind of took me by surprise, well, it DID :) I just finished typing chapter 23, so you can have 22 if I get two comments soon. Think i'll stick w/ 2 comments as my objective for now, can't expect 8 everytime x3 Yes btw, Libby IS still a main character and will be more involved soon, hopefully.

Chapter 21

"Please don't touch me Joe!" Anger flared up inside of me. She had pulled the covers over her head fully. "Joe?!" I screeched. Slowly she pulled the covers over her head in realisation I assumed with an afraid face. "What happened Taylor?!" I practically stormed over the my wardrobe and snatched a shirt off a coat hanger. I handed it to her after making my way back. She put it on while I turned around. I heard her make tiny yelps of pain that she was trying her very best to contain. I turned my body back to face her but she hadn't spoken a word. "Taylor," I gulped as I gazed over the bloody sheets. "you need to tell me what happened." My eyes bored into hers with a serious look on my face. "He-he wouldn't ss-st-stop." She closed her eyes tight, trying to prevent the tears from falling harder than they already were. "Damn..." I whispered quietly.
It seemed like Joe had cast three times as much damage as I had. Quickly I kicked my trainers off and climbed onto the bed to sit beside her. I wrapped my arms around her after pulling her as softly as I could onto my lap. I made sure she was covered with the sheets seeing as she wasn't fully dressed. "I-I tried to leave b-but it hurts too much. I can't walk." Listening to her whimpering was painful, even though I had brought it upon myself. "I'm so sorry about this..."

"I-it wasn't your fault N-Nick." "Just tell me what he did to you. I need to know Tay." I carefully stroked her cheek with the back of my hand and kissed her cheek softly. She did. She explained the whole thing. I felt like punching a wall. At first I was pretty pissed that she would even /want/ to do it with Joe. She told me that she 100% regretted it too though, which I believe her for after seeing the mess that he had left her in. Tay said that not long into it she told him to stop but he wouldn't.
I noticed bruises all along her right arm and her wrists were bright red from the pressure of whatever he'd beaten her with. "You can sleep here until you want to go home. I'll make sure, and I promise, that he'll never do that again." The young girl just nodded and sniffled as she pulled away from my grip so that she lightly landed back on the bed. I flicked the t.v. on and cuddled with her until her eyes dropped off.
I couldn't wait to get my hands on Joe. As I stared blankly at the television in deep thought with my arms wrapped around Taylor the vaccumed atmosphere was sliced through by a "Check Yes Juliet, are you with me? Rain is falling down on the sidewalk, I won't go until you come outside, Check Yes Jul-" Then after rummaging around my room I opened up the slide phone from Tay's bag and answered the call. "Hello?"
