The "athan" itself is music you know, it's in "Maqam Hijaz". This means it is music....religious music. If some people tell you there should be no music with it that is not true.

With all due respect, I don't think you get to "tefti", as in to determine what's haram or halal. I love this song and I think it has a great message and from my point of view it is not at all disrespectful to Islam. But I can't "efti" either, that is to say that it is not okay, although I am a Muslim too. And "athan" is not religious music, it is a religious call!

I hope you don't get offended or anything, because it is not the purpose of my reply at all.
