What you do is irrelevant.

@MrGrandDragon I'm glad you made that clear. That Tariq is such a slippery snake. I will make sure that sharia law will never become fully implemented in the USA. :O

you say islam is a faith of peace yet your false prophit killed hundreds of people and his men killed hundreds if not thousands.
and lets not get started on his chlid wife

The reform is needed where man made and backward looking laws are made. These come from the corrupt books of Hadith and opinions of fiqh people. Uneducated mullahs trying to tell me what I can or cannot do in my daily life lol. Quran is universal and for all times. Why can't people follow it just.

Does anyone have links on videos addressing the power that muslim scholars by their interpretations and commentaries on the holy book have/have held ?

@zahleeeee your statement "trying to change islam in order to appease the disbelievers" in and of itself shows you can't think independently.

Can you please tell me how Islam challenges capitalism?
I would really want to know.....Also Shariah needs to move forward with time. These laws cannot remain ridged as we are no longer living in 600AD. Muslims are fearful of this and would rather be told what their laws are rather than thinking and questioning. I ask you one question, if was an astronaut, How do I pray in space? Islam needs to accommodate these realities which are now present due to progression in time.
No brother/sister He did not say that. In fact he mentioned that people have falsely accused him of that. He never wanted to reform Islam...he said that to enforce the sharia requires certain conditions...So these conditions should be first implemented for the sharia to serve and be productive.

Fiqh is not stagnant, it can change and suite the condition of people. In a impoverished land certain rulings are different.
Important: Fiqh does not change according to the people but according to their condition it is interpreted differently.
