This is wrong you can safely age beef at home in your fridge and come out with amazing results but you must research the safety precautions to take. I do it all the time and I use a bamboo steamer I got from a chinese store to keep out others oders from the fridge as well as keep it in a dry enviroment. Each steak has its own sltted level and is airated. I age my 1 1/2 inch ribeyes for 2 weeks
