Green roofs explained

http://www.organicroofs.co.uk This is a short film that shows the basic components of domestic green roof systems and how they are installed. It was commissioned to help show that green roofs are similar in their functions to traditional types roofing, but that they have significant additional benefits that these do not:

- add value to your property
- transform your home & garden
- extend the life of your roof
- promote biodiversity
- reduce rain flow into drain systems
- assist with carbon sequestration
- contribute to lower energy bills
- make solar panels more efficient
