• The carbon tax is symbolic & is not a solution to climate change
• The carbon tax will not reduce the temperature of the globe
• A global carbon tax would only reduce about 10% of our usage of fossil fuels
• We need to make green energy cheep, not make fossil fuel more expensive
• $3700 carbon price would bee needed by the turn of the century to make a carbon tax work
• We are not going to see most countries move to a carbon tax
• China is dramatically increasing their carbon emission
• Wind and solar have limitations
• Europe has done little to reduce emission & just moved emissions to China
• We will be spending a lot of money to feel like we are tackling climate change but we are not
• We should spend 0.2% of our GDP on green energy research not waste money on a pointless carbon tax

I've been a fan of Prof Lomborg since 2007. I am the proud owner of three of his publications "The Skeptical Environmentalist", "Cool It" and most importantly, "How to Spend $50 Billion to Make the World a Better Place". He has solutions to problems, not just feel good platitudes. Do yourself a favour and get a copy of the movie "Cool It". Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth is compulsory viewing in Aussie Schools. IMHO "Cool It" should take it's place to give students some positive facts!

@barghumer Exactly ... it's proof that they're simply political activists. I haven't seen any green protesters in yonks. They think that if they vote green, they therefore don't have to do the hard yards.
