Cat Steven contracted tuberculosis just after recording Two LP's for the old Deram Label. After about Seventeen months of convalescing and much introspection,he returned with Three LP's of new songs, a new look, and a truly spiritual transcendency of song.
Together with Paul-Samwell Smith's Production and Del Newman's arrangements, Cat Stevens began a unique journey, that thank God is still evolving. ie " An Other Cup "
