I noticed this was in 2008 or so..was it the speed control or missin teeth in the gears?

Your spur gear needs to be spaced out with the other and if that's not it. The spur gear might be striped so you would need a new one. Or your motor is burned out.

I had same problem and I figured out that I was running it with a low batt on lipo mode or whatever it's called. Can't remember cuz I got into nitro now.

Its you battery. Pick the car up and give it full throtle and it will spin fast. The batterys is dead or is a bad battery. Witch means it dosent have enough power to turn your motor. Nothing with your gears or anything.

Dude thank you I told these people like so many times that I fixed it..it's crap so I got a tekin and a lrp,their waaaaaaaaaay better then the vxl or whatever the fuck it is.
