  • @arizonachance It's a rare find when you can be proud of an American citizen in the popular music industry. Most are boring, self entitled, rude, and completely average and undeserving. But THIS MAN, THIS MAN IS A TREASURE! =D Well spoken, well mannered, interesting to listen to, and worthy of respect. The world would be a much better place with more men like this around. I hope when I have sons, they aspire to have role models like this instead of Lil Wayne or worthless cats like that.

  • what a credit to the culture of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. you are on outstanding Man... and thank you for your service and music........i wish i could meet you sir.......

  • just an observation but he has huuge fuckin hands

  • Thank you a bunch for stickin' this interview on the 'Tube. As most people who have commented here say; bluntly speaking, he is and always was a true person. It showed thru without question in his music, of course. There are a number of musicians/composers I'd like to meet and say well done to before I cark it. Bill Withers is one of them.

  • what was the 2 last songs that were played?

  • why he stop to sing ?

  • @Darkestone46and2 Was just thinking the same thing my bother...this man is too humble for the music biz...in a good way.

  • Bill Withers is one of the few men who makes me happy to be an American.

  • @rhancock1231 I'm pretty sure he's loaded by now, haha.

  • It just hit me: If we love his music so much - love the person he is - we must *buy* his music, support him with our money not just our words. I'm heading over to iTunes. I hope you'll join me.

  • man what a great he was indeed and still is !

  • A true American Treasure, and even truer, is the fact that he's a human treasure.
