Commenting on the final judgement of the Morris Tribunal, Joe Costello TD for Dublin Central, lists the litany of criminal behaviour inflicted upon the general population of County Donegal. What would years later become known as the Donegal Scandal, the Morris Tribunal [www.moristribunal.ie] was tasked with investigating the corruption and conspiracy at the heart of the Irish Republic's Police Force. History was created on Oct 22, when -- for the very first time in history -- a minister of the Central Party government with responsibility for Justice, Equality & Law Reform submitted an apology in public for the concerted conspiracy at top levels of management within the Irish Police, conspired to bring false allegations against Kirean B., and others... leading to their subsequent conviction, sentencing and false imprisonment at the hands of the Irish Central Party authorities in government. In reply, deputies admitted their abhorrence at the "qualified apology" issued to the families of those illegally wronged and imprisonment by the Irish state on the part of Mr Ahern, D..

Later, in the House, the current minister of justice admitted that if he could not satisfy himself, personally, that he could produce hard evidence of wrongdoing when a whistle-blower came forward to impart information to him, that he would personally throw them in the bin".
In the context of his statement, minister Ahern, D was commenting on the advice he offered to the former disgraced "Leader" of Ireland, Mr Ahern, B.

Opposition deputies responded by indicating that it took the State judiciary 6 years to produce 'concrete underlying evidence' in published form on the criminals operating behind the would-be "cover" extended to them as 'Agents of the State'.
