Anyone who believes we went to Iraq to fight terrorism or because there was a mistake on information needs to pull their head out of their ass. We are there because there is a lot of money to be made when you can bomb a country (help the weapons manufacturers) rebuild it (construction contracts) and steal their oil (Bush's oil pals). Wake up America is not that complicated.

@captainkill1 So Obama said "we can endure an attack on our soil?" I'll just assmue for the sake of argument that Obama did actually say this and that it wasn't taken out of context.
So what? Hes right. This country CAN survive an attack on our homeland. This was shown on 9-11. It was a devastating event but this country was able to come together and overcome it.

What I DO like is seeing our soldiers alive, and when we removed Saddam from power it started an unnecessary full scale war that saw many US casualties.

I think that having the balls to go to war to defeat terrorism which they got rid of a lot of the bad people over including the whole hussien clan was successful. Defense was his main priority. Obamas top priority is to make friends with the enemy. He said once, "We can Endure an attack on are soil". That scares me because he doesn't take defense seriously. See you in 2012.

Biden is a mess. And I never saw his personal views on the Iraq situation more completely dismantled as when viewing the exchanges he had with ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad on C-Span. The medicine Biden was prescribing was contra-indicated at every point by this extraordinary diplomat. I don't understand how a man with access to such great minds can insist on ideas that mean certain failure and death for so many. But such is life on the Left.
