The Alula is better for DLG and light winds on the slope. The DIU is better for medium winds slope soaring. The Alula seems quite delicate the DIU is as tough as old boots. The DIU isn't quite as fussy to set up, the Alula has better lift and is lighter. Horses for courses I suppose!
