@faunoram Si pero hay que recordar que la version original fue notable por el virtuosismo y pura rapidez del toque de James. En comparacion no iba a ser nada mas esta version que frustrar. Marc Ribot sale en la misma pelicula haciendo una version estupenda y muy eclectica de "Dark was the Night, Cold was the Ground" de Willie Johnson. Por eso creo que la queja aqui es nada mas que Beck esta interpretando mal la cancion.
Pero en general si, estoy de acuerdo, los fans de Blues son conservadores.

Proof that heroin does the damage medical science claims it does, but that's no excuse for the filmmaker who chose to film it. What was the intent here? To insult those into the old country-blues standards or to show how "great" Beck never could be without two turntables and that fucking microphone?

@ClosetMoth actually, Skip james did not like Cream's cover of that song, so that would really surprise me, if he liked a crappy cover like this, beck is just acting, and mocking you. He is not doing music with his guitar at all, just hitting it, and pretending " it comes from the soul", And i won't talk about that shitty harmonica stuff he's done there
I love Beck and Skip James, but this cover is kinda terrible.
