Click the link above and learn how to incorporate this speed and agility drill into your training. You will find a workout listed on the page and tips on how to become a better football player.

Football is a game of speed, agility, and reaction time. Using drills such as the Forward Shuffle Bag Drill is a drill that can help football players with their footwork. The majority of the game for defenders is the ability to move laterally at a fast pace. Offensive players must also be able to move laterally to make cuts and make defenders miss tackles.

When training with Kbands it is important to use them as a resistance training tool. Complete 6-8 reps with them on to increase muscle recruitment, and then take them off for an additional 4-6 reps. Train at 100% intensity for maximal results. Combine this drill with our other Kbands Football Drills on our website for a great workout.

  • Does height has anything to say if you compare a low sprinter and tall sprinter?

And how important is muscles in upper body ?, most of your videos are training legs

  • @WilliamTellsShake height makes a difference when it comes to getting leverage for the dig portion of the sprint. Often times taller athletes will raise their chest too soon and not get everything out of their dig. Muscles in the upper body are very important as well. Check the website for our suspension trainer the KB-Duo. We have been starting to make several upper body strengthening videos with that you can use to get stronger up top.

  • Hey Thanks a million, I tried the kbands and its surely pump your heart..I can't wait till April so I can use it on my players, they hate my workout now they even going to dislike me more. I will post some videos and testimonials.

  • Im a personal trainer working with mostly athletes. I am working with a semi-professional football player a 6'3' 255lbs Defensive End. We have been working with the bands for only two weeks and he has already turned his 40 from a 4.7 to a 4.67. The bands definitely work! I plan to incorporate them into all of my training sessions with my athletes.
