Why does the 30" DC adapter cable not disconnect from the battery housing itself? It makes it very hard to pack in a backpack or laptop bag with that cable physically connected at all times. IMHO, not a very well thought-out design.

Hi um i got a very old laptop. Its a Dell Latitude CPX and uses a PPX battery and that battery is compleatly dead so is there any way i could get it to work agin or find it cheap somewhere???
