All of you degraded this into Party Politics and ideological warfare are playing into exactly what Mr. Moyers is talking about. Objective and enlightened comminucation, fed and informed by a truly free and objective press, has nothign to do with Dems vs Repblicans. It does mot matter if media is liberally or conservatively biased: the fact is that the media should be neither.

You are right in the track of what really is

going on. When we fall into the stage that has been handed to us by the powers that be we will never wake up. They are the very manipulators and powers that control the media and thus its censorship not through a real censorship process, but one that deletes, modifies, or denies pertinent information. The whole Republican/Democrat parties are nothing but a stage to keep us distracted from the real issues and powers that really control the media.

Sorry to see such a decline of democracy in the USA, the corporate elite got you by the balls and most of Americans are not even aware of it. An example, Noam Chomsky is the most prominent intelectual in the world right now, when he visits any country in the world he is on all the headlines he's invited to talk-shows and reporters are begging for an interview... but somehow he's never hosted on major US media like Larry King, or CNN, or NBC, ABC, FOX... HOw the fuck is that even possible??!

Its really disturbing over here man. Be glad you have a view from the outside, cuz there are many times I hear things of such a... distorted, almost inhuman perspective ranted about over and over, a literal perversion of reasoning covered with sugar, that I'll be as stunned as a though a truck just nailed me. Then, lo and behold, a gaggle of ... I dunno, I hate to disparage, but its hard not to question the intelligence of some people who gleefully swallow such distortion.

I have been watching the media situation in the US for some time. I hope you will overcome the domination of political ideology and that you will manage to increase the influence of balanced journalism again. Truth always remains the best thing to base decisions on. Greetz from Europe.
