You are of course entitled to your opinion. But the fact that you picked Patron over Don Julio tells me your palate is not properly tuned for tequila. I don't even favor blancos and prefer anejos, but I've tasted both of these and Don Julio Blanco has way more complexity and smoothness for a blanco, considering most blancos are nothing but bite since they're not aged.

Patron to me is what college kids drink due to the way its marketed, I dont drink tequila to get drunk at all i drink tequila to enjoy the Nice aromas and flavors and the beauty of the tequila.

First off, this guy is taking shots of this? On that alone this review just defaulted like a loan gone bad. You sip this... slowly. It's Mexican scotch. You take shots of 1800 Reposado maybe, and anything lesser. Second, Don Julio is much better if you are not a beginner to the world of finer spirits. If you go on spring break, take the Patron, it's sure to get oohs and ahhs. I would also suggest pairing it with the latest edition of Girls Gone Wild.

why is a white boy judging Tequila. He should stay with the SoCo and that other shit like Jack. Patron leaves no after burn at all don julio is like lil pinch i agree patron is better but there is no burn. If any one gets a burn is cuz they probably aint ready for a Real Drink make for BIG BOYS.
