On the side of this 707 appears the name, "Chateau" (I'm unable to see beyond that). Now, in 1962, a chartered Air France 707 named, "Chateau de Sully," crashed upon takeoff at Orly airport in Paris killing all but 2 stewardesses. The flight was chartered by a group of art patrons from Atlanta, GA. I'm just wondering if this 707 in this video clip was the doomed Chateau de Sully that crashed.

The color is what gives this old videos the nostalgic feel.

I wish there was a program that could clear up the bad color and make it normal....shame...LOVE those old smokie engines!!

Both Alex & Melissa have good points here; I WOULD like to find one in better shape (I went through 3 of these, and this one had the most 707 in it), so that was what I used.
In these old films (Like the filmstrips we watched in school) the colour dyes run out, and what is usually left, is the "Brown & red".
They CAN be restored, but I don't know of a "Dummy" program out there for this sort of thing.
