At the beginning of World War II, Steve Rogers tries to enlist in the Army but is rejected for being "too puny." But, the Army thinks he is a perfect test subject for an experiment known as "Operation Rebirth." Rogers risks it all for his country and drinks the dangerous "super soldier" formula and is transformed into Captain America - a near-perfect physical human specimen.
