If you look at the map and chronicles, Magyars called Slovaks, less Slovenians, Croats from Slavonia and Srem (less all Slavs) " Tot, Tóth ".
" Tót, Tout, Tóth " is derivated from oldest proto-Indoeuropean and proto - Celtic name " teuta, túath, teuton ...." (German " Teuton ") for " people, folk, tribe, land ...." (in India " tetti, teoti " conected with devas).
But Magyars called Croats from Dalmatia as " Horváth, Horvátok .... " what confirm existention of 2 Croat groups !
Sarmats including Croats brought into Czechia and Moravia for example cult of persian god Mithra. They were darker comparing to Slavs and arabic merchants in parts of Bohemia they crossed noticed it.
Belochorváti behing Carpaths were described as typical horsmen and nomads, but Croats in Jugoslavia were decribed as " having many ships ". So they had to be mixed in that time with local Slavs and rest of slavized Illyrs which were mostly marines and pirates in Jadran and Dalmatia.
Croats ( Belochorvati ) were basic and strongest Czech tribe which leading noble family " Slavníkovci " ( st. Vojtěch - Adalbert ) were exterminated by their main rivals Czech tribe and their leaders " Přemyslovci ". Croats were in Czechia known as " Charváti " living in north east Bohemia and north west Moravia (Pardubice ...). " Charvát " is on of most typical surnames in Czechia. But Czechs don´t claim to much of their Croat origin, but mostly by second Czech tribe - the Czechs.
