Kenneth A. Neidinger, 37, of Elizabethtown, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 5, of natural causes at his home.
He was born on July 17, 1973 in Harrisburg and is the son of Marlene Herneisey Neidinger of Elizabethtown and Kenneth C. and wife Rebecca Neidinger of Rheems.
He was a police officer for the E. Hempfield Township Police Department; was a Marine Corps veteran of the Persian Gulf War; was baptized at Wesley United Methodist Church, Middletown; he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Red Rose Lodge #16, Moose Lodge Post #596, VFW Post #5667, American Legion Post #329, Friendship Fire & Hose Co. No.1, all of Elizabethtown, and Susquehanna Fire & Rescue Co. No. 4 of Columbia; and he enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, bowling, and billiards.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers Matthew R., husband of Jennifer Neidinger of Strasburg, and Michael C. Neidinger of Mt. Joy; sister Faithann Neidinger of Middletown; paternal grandfather Clyde Neidinger of Lancaster; two nephews Andrew and Ryan Neidinger of Strasburg; and niece Ashley Turri of Strasburg.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Ann and S. Catherine Sts., Middletown, with the Rev. Nancy Lee Goff officiating.
